Henry David Thoreau

“I should not talk so much about myself

if there were anybody else whom I knew as well.”

— Henry David Thoreau

Truth transforms. But for truth to get past your intellect and truly change you, you’ll have to eat it. Meditate on it. Question it. Pray on it. Apply it.

In the Bible, God tells Ezekiel to eat the Truth:

“…feed your belly with this scroll that I give you and fill your stomach with it.” Then I ate it, and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.

— Ezekiel 3:3 (ESV)

Truth is sweet to our souls; it heals.

God’s truth comes to us through a variety of vehicles, including: scripture, a song, a Holy Spirit whisper into your heart, a book, or a quote.

Today, read the quote(s) above. If it speaks to you, eat it.
