One Relationship You Never Need to Wonder About

Do you ever wonder where you stand? Relationships are complicated. Sometimes I don’t feel secure in them. While praying on my drive to work recently, I remembered a beautiful thing: With God I never need to wonder.

I never need to wonder if he’ll forgive me.

He certainly will.

I never need to wonder if he can handle yet another emotional breakdown.

He certainly can.

I never need to wonder if he wants to hang out with me.

He certainly does.

I never need to wonder if he needs some space.

He certainly doesn’t.

I’m not discounting other relationships. I have lots of treasured people in my life. I need these people. They are God’s gifts to me. Yet humans will be human. As I’ve let others down, they’ve let me down too.

But not God. He will never, never, never stop loving me. I’m certain he won’t.

I pray you would know this certainty too.

“The Lord is the one who is going ahead of you. He will be with you. He won’t abandon you or leave you. So don’t be afraid or terrified.”
